Need some feedback on a change for the mod
🕑 Added 2022-10-18 17:45:22 +0000 UTCSo for those that have played my halo 3 mod you might have noticed that I changed all weapon projectiles to fire from the actual gun barrel instead of the player camera. I've gotten a few comments that this was hard to get used to because you couldn't shoot from behind cover as easily. So I want to do some polls to see how everyone feels about this.
Shooting from the player camera (This is default for every halo game)

Shooting from the gun barrel is way easier for making effects look nice, but is really annoying for gameplay since you can miss shots you should have hit just because you're standing too close to a wall and your gun model was overlaying it
I did a poll on my YT channel as well and it seems like camera is the minority but back when I first released my h3 mythic mod I'd get a few comments about not liking projectiles coming from the weapon barrel.
