Alright, thanks for the info, I'm stuck if I should do sketching at all or just go full painter with silhouettes like BoroCG but I guess it's whatever I'm most comfortable with.

Its like... 3rd go over. First real sketchy getting idea down; then choosing the lines; then this layer is refined enough that it should work with painting. It has some weighting/edges that should aid later on

I think you misunderstood my question, I was asking what phase was this drawing, not about the process.

Doing this in PS with a brush thats a lil softer, so that when I come to colouring I can either blend in, or work with the lineart. The harder inkier brushes become a problem when I start to try colour ontop of them
