So, good news and bad news, we'll start with the good ones.
Barring any unforeseen disasters, I'm confident the episode will drop before the new year. All the renders and animations are done, just need to finish putting together the final scene and do a proper play test.
The bad news is that the new Eternum update just dropped, so no one is going to have time for little 'ol Trouble iN The aRena. Oh well, what can you do.
Prioritizing the screen over the fiancéeDefinitely overconsuming caffeine again, always happens close to release, I just want to get the final bits done. Since it's Christmas time I'm also overconsuming sugar. This can mean only one thing: it's time to start to snus and overconsume nicotine as well!
I'll get back to healthier habits once the episode is out and about. On that note my sleep schedule is messed up the other way now, I've been waking up at 2 am. Kinda nice to get some work done in the silence of night while still being awake for the few hours of, well, I hesitate to call it "light", let's go with gray. Black and grey, such are the colors of a snowless winter.
Bathing under the influenceHope you all had a nice Christmas! Mine was quite nice, a rather small family gathering, which is how I prefer it. Don't need to deal with the extended family, there's too many of them. Remember, the best sign that someone in the family hates you is that they gifted you lottery tickets. If someone gifts me something that is objectively worse than plain money, they may as well spit me in the face while they're at it.
Anyway, that doesn't happen in small family gatherings. Neat!
Does feel a bit silly to complain when I've worked and studied with Assyrians, they seem to attend several family weddings per year. I would rather chop off my legs. Two weddings a decade at max, thank you very much.
Honestly never understood the appeal of them. As far as I'm concerned, my relationships (which at this point are admittedly somewhat hypothetical) are my private business, don't need anyone else's blessings or approval or whatever else. Rather spend the money on, well, just about anything else really. Perhaps some nice prosthetics to replace the legs I just chopped off.
What has her looking like that?Anyway, I'm off to bed early, then it's back to polishing off the final bits of the episode. Expect a release in the next few days, and because of that I'll wait until then to wish happiness for the coming year.

Eternum suprisingly i havent even started it yet its on my lists but im more excited for ur game. Actually going to a chritmas dinner myself today (i know its late) thanks for the update enjoy ur rest of the year

An odd Christmas for me. Some of my family had the flu so we didn't get to do much. First I can remember not having Christmas dinner, didn't feel too bad though tbh. A lot of game updates have been very exciting and hopefully I'll be done with Eternum before TiTa comes out. I'm fully on board with abolishing the lottery, like yeah it's better if the money goes to the state than some casino mega corp, but can't we just stop playing scratch offs and number games that are all luck? By definition they have to be worth less than the cost, also they are the biggest waste of time like holy shit people are in line trying to pay rent and here you are buying 50 scratch offs. (I work in retail). A lot of the people who buy the most lottery are already really struggling too, a lot of my customers are disabled and/or on food stamps, just holding out hope that they will win big, which will happen to probably none of my customers ever. How very long winded of me, hope someone liked reading my crashout. Have a great week all!
