Editing BTS - When things don't go as planned
🕑 Added 2024-12-11 16:12:16 +0000 UTCJust thought I'd share something that happened in the latest video, and show you how I deal with these types of issues! Took me hours to solve it and I'm sure I didn't clean 100% of the wheezing noise because some were mixed with other sounds making it very hard to change it for something that would sound 'part' of the video, but in the end I still think all the work was worth it.
Did you notice any "sounds fixes" when you watched the video??
(I have allergic rhinitis btw 😅)

Ok yeah ... I did have to turn the volume up quite a bit above my normal level when watching your videos to hear it though. Not sure if I would have noticed it over the course of a full video at usual volume or not.

That is funny because I sometimes get a similar whistle in my nose or throat, and I first thought it was me! Specifically I was thinking, “Why is my cat meowing? Oh it’s just a whistle in my throat. Wait, was it actually Luisa's cat meowing? Oh, I know what it is…” I didn’t notice it at all in the version with background sounds, and it was just one moment I noticed in the no-bg version, so you got most of it. P.S. I do like technical features like this so it gets my vote for future BTS

You don't hear the little wheezing sound? 😱 To be fair this recording sound quality is a bit bad for some reason

I didn't even hear anything weird in the unedited version, though I can see how small things would really annoy you when editing small pieces of video over and over again. BTS stuff is great!

So nice that you liked this one! I do think the 100% sensitivity is very tingly cause it captures "more" of the whispers somehow 😄

I barely noticed like once or so , I figured it was just what happens with 100% sensitivity, I was so relaxed by your whispers that I didn’t think much of it. It was still a remarkable accomplishment, and one of the most tingly experiences I’ve ever had!
