Hi, I'm new here to Cap's Patreon and somehow tragically this comment exchange what the first thing I saw. So it lead me to the Twitter (x) thread and I gotta say I'm super bummed and it isn't because of the trump supporting, it's because of the exchanges with Cap and the people in the comments. I get that they insulted his work and it is rude, but to come out swinging and immediately flex your follower count and call names in response, even if they did that to him, well, That's something I would love to see as behavior that's beneath him. I would love for that to be behavior that is beneath all people. Everyone who has strong political views often has such due to very strong personal experiences regardless of alignment, some of those experiences may be very traumatic or deeply painful which lead to a radically strong opinion (I've seen it on both the right and the left). The current system is very much set up with the media to put people against each other with incredible anger and ignorance. Most of us actually want to meet in the middle, my best friend in the world votes differently than I do, but we often agree on many things politically just not about how it should be done. Caps whole platform is based on making people feel good and when someone has fear based on the election it's probably legitimately based on something real that happened in their life or maybe they are over saturated with fear mongering propaganda, either way, for the feel good creator to turn and respond in such a way, it makes other people who saw that exchange want to leave. Myself included. I'm a very understanding person, but it's hard enough already to see how ugly and catty people are to each other for being different in the day to day, I certainly don't want to see it from my feel good content creators. Which I get, every artist/creator is still a person, but the more followers you have the bigger area of impact you have to make a difference, therefore you have a higher responsibility to do better. Many people who watch ASMR have anxiety, insecurities and more and that's why they need help relaxing. Anyways, I'm not leaving because I believe we all have room to grow and be better, but I will say, Cap Bailey, if you happen to see this and make it this far down into my novella, what we say to each other matters and while people may be rude to you, the way you react is a reflection upon you, not the other person. The way we treat people matters, even if they are just one in 348,000, even if they don't deserve your kindness. It shows more strength and intelligence to rise above than it ever will to swing back. -with love -

Yes, reacting to Bailey’s tweet applauding the Trump win. And yes everyone is most definitely entitled to their own opinion (although come Jan. 20, good luck with that!). It’s just inconceivable to me that any decent-minded person could vote for that vile creature and his even worse puppetmaster Elon Muck (typo intended). I could go on about this for hours but I won’t because I know it’ll fall upon deaf ears. It breaks my heart, but just can’t in good conscience support anyone who supports that duo!

Not into Pokemon, but I like the Skarmory card artwork but then I also love Airstreams. Near the end of a VW T5 conversion. Would love an Airstream think they look really cool, but sooo expensive, nearest I've got to an Airstream is one as a Christmas decoration for my tree, lol.

2 hours of sleep followed by some skin removing coffee? That's some overnights baker life usuals there. The secret to the reeeeallly hot coffee? Get so wound up in something you forget about it, then you have a cold brew when you finally remember lol I was looking at felt patterns to sew some pokemon ornaments/decorations for my bestie kid. He gave me a snorlax card a couple if weeks ago cause I wasn't feeling the greatest. It's no PSA 10 and I'm sure it's worth pennies, but it's big on sentimental value. So that WAS an AIRSTREAM trailer in the Instagram photo of you with the un-hinged beard. I was gong to ask, but figured whisper boy Cap Bailey doesn’t have the piss and vinegar skill to do that…. I’m impressed. So when building your house you’re REALLY GOING TO BUILD YOUR HOUSE. That is admirable Bailey. I don’t think I have the stamina anymore after renovating 2 duplexes only to see them go into foreclosure. How is the land search going? I’m running up against higher and higher prices up north. It’s disheartening. Hope your situation is better in the South.

This ramble was a nice surprise just when I got home from work. I completely understand about the sleep schedule. I'm like that when I've been working nights so good luck with getting your sleep back on track. I've actually watched the whole series of Masters of the air because I'll be working on the hangouts. You certainly won't be disappointed, it's an amazing series.
