Also, I just realized this is the first time we heard about Stacy in a bit, maybe she might help Clark out of this dark hole he's falling into. Or maybe talk some sense into Beouf to just try and talk to Clark like an adult and find a way through for the both of them. It would be easy to hate them as antagonists if it weren't so obvious they actually care about Clark.

I really do wonder what's going through Beouf's and Zoge's heads as they watch this. Some chapters I feel completely frustrated at them and others I feel they're going through something rough when they deal with Clark. Despite how they betrayed his trust, despite how they're tormenting Clark by parading him around his place of work for 10 years like a baby, I still can see they care about him. What I really wanna know is what they're actually thinking, like, holy cow I wanna know what their reasoning is and the mental gymnastics they're doing to "help" Clark. It's dawned on me that Janet is the only Amazon since his "flare up" to talk to him in a manner even resembling a functioning rational adult. Beouf kinda had her moment with Clark after she found out Janet took him to his old house, but I wonder just how much conflict and hurt they could both avoid by just talking like they used to before their classes started. I just remembered her BS Maturosis degree probably tells her to completely cut out any signs of their old life but as a teacher she has to know that some methods just won't work on everyone. I don't understand why she doesn't at least make an effort to talk TO Clark instead of talking AT him and then maybe they can both help each other.

I love the update. I feel Clark is trapped and looking to make everyone else feel trapped as well. He thought he was being subtle/but that didn’t work. Now Clark is adapting and changing strategy. He is using the knowledge and system together just in a more diabolical and creative manner. Look at it kind of he is being a jerk because he can.

I agree to this to a large extent. Clark has gone from being the hero, to being on his way to an anti-hero... That being said given all the shit he's been through it isn't too far out of the realm of reason to think that he would break somehow. Instead of breaking and becoming a true 'little baby,' I think he's breaking and becoming a jerk. I'm not sure he's going to be ready for being sent to his old classroom for time out at some point in the not to distant future. I don't know that they would kick him out of the school... Not with 'mommy' working there. Not sure where this is all heading, but I'm pretty sure a spectacular explosion is going to happen before long!

I think he feels more out of control in his environment after the report came in and whither he knows it or not he’s trying to assert control over those he knows he can. He knows he’s smarter then most on the playground. He understands the system better and understands others. Basically he’s being a jerk because he feels insecure.

"Razzing, teasing, tormenting, and otherwise reminding Tommy what a baby he was compared to everyone else was just another game. Was he objectively any more infantile, regressed, or generally mindfucked than the rest of us? Absolutely not. It was just part of the game." This is the first time I have truly disliked Clark. It just seems nasty for no particular reason. This is the second: "The relief I saw on Mandy was a symphony. I took note of that in case I got bored with Tommy." When he was addressing his ire at Boeuf, Zoge, et.al, that was one thing, but now he is hurting other Littles? I understand what he is doing and why, but none of these other Littles asked to be here either (maybe Ivy, but even that is dubious) and he is bullying and scapegoating them for his own unlikely ends. Maybe it's time to bring his wife back into the story. If she is NOT regressed, how would she react to what her husband is doing? If she IS, she'd instantly become the one Clark *should* be picking on, by his own "rules," and what would he do then?

At this point, do you think Clark would care. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain, plus what else is he going to do while in daycare now HEHE

Clark is doing whatever he can to fight the system, even if that includes using his comrades as pawns. His end game may be to break the system, but what is he going to be left with?

I believe the phase is "The beatings will continue till morale improves." Clark is enforcing his rule in the classroom the only way he can from the teachers. I am curious how they will try to counter his plans, their rules and how they treat Clark do have them in a bind. They other have to admit his maturity, kick him out of daycare, or isolated him from the others. Which would have to explained since they have rules. Clark is a little so has none so he can use all the little naughty tricks he can and since he knows their rulebook, knows all the "loopholes" making hard to pin him down outside of those three. Not like they can use brainwashing on him now. That would be wrong, they prefer to break him the old fashioned and humane way. The same thing Clark is doing to others at the moment. Just without any force per say. All on "charm" and "charisma"

Give in to your anger....it gives you, focus. What an interesting, albeit harsh, tactic to keep littles from giving in.
