Not me repeatedly checking back in to hear other people’s takes on the chapter 👀

I love it anytime Amy shows up. Especially when she goes from a silly stream of conciousness to genuinely helpful. Everytime we see her I keep hoping for the story about her teeth.

I both hate and love Amy’s advice. I love it because it’s true, he’s a baby to the amazons. They won’t listen to him in any way, shape or form that matters. They will listen to him with his feelings but not advice on how to run things. I think she is trying to give him perspective. I hate her advice because it’s also telling him to give up. Accept defeat. I think it’s good advice to save Tracy (have her quit her job), but it just feels… wrong to tell Clark to give up.

The descent to madness begins. Or more like normality and complacency. This was fun to read just cause Clark got into the game and didn't truly realize his lack of modesty

It's easy to ignore the "little" things when you have your eyes on the bigger prize. Frankly it's normal, "typical" even to just accept some of the stuff he can't fight against, the acclimate to the embarrassing stuff. There's no good in being stressed out about it all the time. That would be the reasonable thing to tell Clark. But he's going to overthink and freak out about it probably, before coming to that realization. Or he'll turn that bitterness into something to cause havoc at the festival. Calling it now that festival will be a 3 or 4 chapter epic isn't it.

Clark definitely is showing signs of going native at this point, but I don't see any way he can avoid it. The interesting thing is that like Amy who still gets time to go to the Zoo, Clark seems to be getting time to still be the preschool teacher organizing the other 'kids.' Looking forward to more as always!

Another great installment. I find myself wondering what would happen if social change took place on a large scale & Littles received back their adult status. For those who have gone full native, could rehabilitation ever bring them back? The little boy who protested that his dad was using HIS monkeez for the game… what would happen to him? There are things of course that cannot be undone, the hair removal, intentional inner ear damage… etc, but the deepest damage seems to be to the sense of self & im not convinced it can be undone for all, especially those who have gone to harsher indoctrination facilities, i mean, day schools.

Clark is slowly adjusting in some regards. I feel like Tracy does need to leave before it is too late, which sucks. Clark will go down a bit when she does leave almost a regression of previous behavior. At least Clark told Janet and she appeared to be sympathetic to Clark, showing further progression of their relationship.
