Cliffhanger, and I only have 4 minutes left in my lunch break, I guess I will read the next chapter after work

Doing a re-read, and had some thoughts on the Little’s room. How profound an experience, to be in a house for giants, yet there’s this one singular room made for Littles. It’s like the grocery store, but with the added giant’s house around it. If everything in the world is made for Amazons except these “baby” things, that sounds like it’d coerce someone’s submission. To just give in and accept your babying, helped by the fact that there’s no cognitive dissonance at home ruining the illusion, but that probably isn’t even a factor after a certain point of acceptance.

My first thought was that Janet was tricked into undergoing some kind of hypnosis to make her treat Clark more like a baby (something I can see Zoge thinking is best - see her changing Clark into the onesie), but the pumping idea makes a lot of sense.

I think Ivy was an Amazon that got punished. Or she’s the result of an Amazon and Betweener having a baby and Ivy is biologically theirs. And that’s why they left their country. They where basically forced out.

I totally agree with you on this. I never thought of it before. Thx

Ivy is Mrs. Zoge's flesh and blood daughter. I've had this suspicion ever since the beginning and the Halloween chapter where we meet Mr. Zoge definitely helped things click into place but this chapter confirms it. She only knows Hana and Haru as her parents. She's obviously had the "talk" with Mrs. Zoge at one point in time. She refers to her pictures from Yamatao/Honshu as her "baby" pictures which says a lot more than Clark was willing to read into it. After all, why wouldn't those pictures be displayed unless they actually show Ivy at a different stage in life? My theory is that Mrs. Zoge doesn't want her daughter to be made fun of humiliated if the truth came out that she's either a short tweener or a... underdeveloped Amazon for lack of a better word. Hell, she might even be a Little because of a recessive gene from one of her parents (My reserch into genetics on display from when I wrote the future of Amazonian fertility story xD). The fact she has a superior intellect and strength may be hints she isn't a Little, but it could also be side effects of the educational system from her homeland. Ivy might've been potty trained at an extremely young age, like tweeners and Amazons are forced to do, only to block that out when she went to school and ultimately had to wear diapers since Yamatoa would probably do that to any student deemed "short." Which would explain why she has memories of wetting her underwear which she's obviously not proud of since they happened when she was a legitimate little girl. I personally think that not every proper baby picture is hidden away in the attic; I'm willing to bet there's one or two on Mrs. Zoge's nightstand. The reason she hides them away is to protect her daughter who she always felt the need to protect. I think that by the time the family moved to Oaksire (America) it was probably too late to raise Ivy as a proper Little, Tweener or Amazon and that's why Ivy is still a big baby. It also explains how the hell she knows her actual age. Mindfucked littles and their parents don't necessarily keep track of that information nor would the parents offer it up to their Littles. The fact that she knows she is 35 is a massive hint Clark completely missed. Think about it: 10 years at least in America coupled with God knows how many in Yamatoa... it would take an unGodly mind to somehow keep track of that without the aid of calanders, cell phones or even a clock unless she's actually their daughter.

I like the idea better that Janet is getting diapered or punished some how. Just because it’s me. But you’re probably right lol

Second Comment: I wanted to come back here and say some conspiracy laden plot twist; that we were finally going to see Zoge has been an evil mastermind all along. That the reason Janet is in Zoge's bathroom is because Janet is getting diapered and Zoge is going to take Clark for herself. Or that Mr Zoge (a tweener? with barely an introduction) decided all this. Even though Zoge is still on the short list of people who could have poisoned Clark, this theory obviously requires too many assumptions. It requires Zoge to have an amazing mask, and a motive we can't envision. How she could have poisoned him is easy enough: the coffee itself could be tainted, or it's left in the cups. Not enough for Beouf to be affected (or affected to a point of thinking little of it), but enough that it could affect Clark. And if she'd been trying to poison him for months, it would explain his hair trigger colon from earlier in the series, before he was adopted. But again. This all requires a lot of assumptions, and a desire for there to be a villain in a series that does not need one. The amazons are already villains, not because they're malicious (some are), but because it's their nature. The whole Frog and Scorpion fable. Pers has made it basically clear upon each character's introduction what kind of person they are and a mask slip like that just doesn't seem to be his style. While in spin off stories we've seen Amazons baby each other, as well as in Unfair, it's always been shown to be done where a professional or familial hierarchy exists. While the Zoges are clearly well off, I don't know or assume that Amazon culture is class-ist enough based on income to facilitate something like that. It would also presume that Janet somehow managed to mess up tea room talk badly enough in an hour to earn a diaper. Too many assumptions. No, the answer far more obvious: Janet is pumping, and Zoge either has pumping equipment in her bathroom, or there's just a nice bench in there to do it. It was already stated in earlier chapters she's taking pills, likely hormones. And then there is the clue left in this chapter that I didn't add in my original comment, but was obvious at the time none-the-less. Janet tries to say "Bonyu" is the word for goat milk, but Ivy later says the same thing when she nurses from Zoge. And yeah I looked it up, bonyu is good enough of a translation for Breast milk (肪乳). So yeah, the only person "double crossing" Clark here is Janet, a typical Amazon if ever there was one. Side note: I’d offer to give you more phrases to use when Zoge and Ivy are speaking, but I imagine it would have the result of the modern “The Thing” movie, and this would give away plot answers to anyone who understands the language.

Jemsy

Now that you mention it, it does seem like Janet is trying hard to change how she talks to him.

Wow, lotsa hints dropped here that I think Clark is missing! I'm excited to learn more about Ivy and her family! To me it sounds like Ivy might actually be their biological daughter, she walked in on her parents having sex, no memories of other parents, strong enough to break Amazon snaps and tapes? Also can't wait for Clark to find out about the "Bonyu," hehe I wonder if he'll figure it out himself or if Ivy will say something that clues him in or tells him outright. Great chapter as usual Pers!

The Slavin

I love the little hint at Clark regressing and falling into his new slot of life by showing his internal thoughts are beginning to view Janet as "My Mommy". The other part is how Clark is beginning to view Janet as a way of feeling safe, like a child would shyly hide behind a parent. The other point to note, Ivy might be the reason Clark is stuck in diapers, considering she can take her's off and probably sneak a new one on. Also probably can use doors as well. She may have wanted to live out her fantasy with Mister Gibson, now turned Master Grange.

Another example of why I keep looking forward to a new chapter. You can never tell what is going to happen or where the story will go next.

I know! I love how bonyu is literally Japanese for breast milk haha.

I too am really looking forward to learning more about Ivy. I think I am also looking forward (in a cringey way) to Clark learning what "bonyu" means and when goat's milk isn't goat's milk... I hope it doesn't destroy his relationship with Janet.

I am definitely curious to the backstory of Ivy and how Clark will approach the goats milk situation. Or if he really put the two together since Ivy got it as well. Who knows but maybe that is why Clark started to also mellow out a bit. I do really like the “good” weekend Janet mentioned and how she is using different language with Clark despite the difficulties it causes her. Looking forward to more!

Though Ivy is mindfucked as Clark puts it, doesn’t mean that she is stupid. She is clearly smarter than Clark giver her credit. I wonder is she will see through Clark’s plans… I am very curious to hear Ivys backstory as well.

Willow B Tatus

I love the "I used to think of you but then you became a regular baby like the rest of us" (paraphrased?) line.
