Totally agree. Also, as much as good therapists should be “neutral” about all people and about the situations they bring into the therapy room, people have their own biases (conscious and unconscious ones), so there are definitely therapists out there who pathologise being LGBTQIA+. It was only recently that there was a caveat in the DSM 5 for Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder to say that it should not be used to diagnose those who identify as being asexual!

Sorry, my comment here is so after the fact but here goes. We really shouldn't have been surprised here after 1 1/2 seasons of this amazing writing. When Simon goes to Marcus' room he says, "Cozy." That's what Wille said in Simon's room before the "fish scene." And Simon wants a "skräck" (horror) film which is what he and Wille were watching before their first kiss. And when Wille asks Felice to, "hold me," that's what he said to Simon after Simon saved him from the football pitch and before they have sex. They are both trying to recreate their first experience with lovemaking but with someone else. And, of course, it's going badly for both of them. Lisa rhymes everything. Season 3 will be amazing. Not sure, though, what any of us are expecting. Lisa seldom does the expected.

It has been a long time i sure missed you guys 🥹. I really loved watching this with you guys. I also have a movie recommendation its called Firebird its a true story between a soldier and a fighter pilot back in the cold war. Its so beautifully produced and i bet you guys will love the scenes between them!!!

There is definitely a difference between a good therapist and a good therapist who knows and understands issues/nuances specific to the queer community. I’ve dropped therapists because it became exhausting to have to explain certain things. It’s helpful to see someone that has at least a base understanding, more helpful is a therapist who’s queer themself. That way you can focus on your own therapy instead of teaching the therapist.

It amazed me how many other reactors didn't see Marcus as a manipulator and gaslighter. So many thought he was so sweet when he and Simon had that conversation. I was blown away. I'm so glad you two weren't fooled!

I have to acknowledge the fact that you two immediately clocked Marcus gaslighting Simon!!! Cause only a few reactors (and I watched many 😅) actually have notices that. Like, It kinda went straight over their heads, even though I found it very obvious.
