I just double checked, here in the US many places require that a permit is obtained to spread the ashes especially if it’s private property. Different states have different requirements. Ashes definitely are allowed in an urn in a private home. I’m grateful to have my husband’s ashes here with me.

Don't know about British regulations but I know in Germany you are not allowed to just scatter someone's ashes. If at all you have to do so on designated meadows on graveyards. You aren't allowed to keep the urn at home either. In the US however, I think, you are allowed to just scatter the ashes anywhere or keep Grandma on the mantle... 😶

I gave myself a black eye once when I fell out of bed and landed on the floor with my HEAD. My legs stayed on the bed wrapped in the sheets so I just went down head first and landed on my temple. I told people I was in a bar fight but they didn't believe me. LOL
