Don't know how it went, cause I didn't watch the livestream, and I don't often bake, but I think a lot of the time you can't just wing it/improvise that much as you might do when making dinner for example(you can decorate anyway you want, put whatever cream/mousse in between the sponge layers for example, but you often have to follow a specific basic recipe to get the measurements right).
