Check the map, there is a green dot you need to go. There is also an experimental feature in the settings called "Arrow Indicator" to help with directions.

Btw how do you beat the chicken level? Every time I play it the timer just ends. Is there a specific thing to do? Please help!

Around 3 months, 1st-2nd month was prototyping, fleshing out the system, future content and story ideas. In the early 3rd month was finalizing the system and then mostly spent the time doing the art.
