But luckily between system crashes and after a back up I had the presence of mind to send a postable version of this to myself on Discord, allowing me to get at least one more thing up this month.

When I took it to a repair shop they said the drive wasn't in danger of failure and the problems didn't start until after an update and are exclusively tied to the OS, so I'm guessing it's the OS. Still, not a great thing to happen right before May.
