Development Update: Gameplay, Lighting & Face-Rig

Hey there! 💗 Just wanted to give you a quick update on virtualgirl and what we’ve been working on lately. Right now, we’re deep into figuring out the actual gameplay mechanic, refining the lighting, and reworking her face rig to achieve more natural expressions. Everything is slowly coming together, and I can’t wait for you to see the progress in our next update.
Here’s a preview of the room in its current rendered state. We’ve been experimenting with light baking to create a more pre-rendered aesthetic, similar to the image. However, achieving this look in real-time gameplay is still a work in progress, and finding the right setups has been a bit challenging.
Our latest focus has been upgrading virtualgirl's face rig. We really want to bring more life to her expressions, making them dynamic and engaging.

I concur. Even on my S23 Ultra it takes forever for things to happen or the screen goes black and never recovers
