Why is rigging even the first assumption there? Non-patrons can still follow a creator and see the titles of the posts they're missing out on. As someone who can't afford to stay subbed every month between so many different creators I love, but will at least jump in at $1 where possible to take part in things like this when they pop up, being lumped in with cheaters sure doesn't make me feel welcome. Just sayin'. :P
