Hehehe The intro made me think of some sorta mushi that tickles your sinuses if you talk or think about winter in the summer XD I wonder if that's how the author comes up with the mushi ideas! I really like episode 4, one of my new faves. It has great imagery that relates to the primordial fear of darkness, food chain (all the animals in the montage were eating) and being top predator, how even the mightiest can and will fall, and the toxicity passed down through the family - fun how this toxic attitude towards people and nature is represented by the literal toxic sludge. I really love the scenes with Tatsu, the direction leans a lot into portraying his as beastly, top of the food chain predator. When ginko comes to their house it's like a lair of mountain lion, stinks of rotten meat, scavenger birds all around, and then we see him wake up and come out all leisurely but menacingly. And at the end he gets taken out by a regular human hunter with a human device, shot like a wild beast on a hunt, and crawls into an animal hole, about to die. Chef's kiss.
