I could only be there with him. It took me a long time to learn that and to deal with that fact. I think our marriage was happier these last few years. My husband had a terror of me leaving him. I promised him that I never would. I think that gave him some comfort.
He never understood the Furry thing but he wasn’t opposed to it, either. He understood how much it means to me. I even created a fursona for him. The randy, flirty cheetah queen you see here. He got a kick out of it. And looking at it always makes me smile.
