basically the job guy is trying to convince Philophana to get a patent for her clockwork heart and she is being overly dramatic

Imagine Phana saying something along the lines of: "Poor robots! Everybody tells them "But why don't you just sell your body or the rights to it"? When it's not that it's always the robots who end up hurt or destroyed! I swear! Robots get the worst flack! Oh! The inhumanity! Why are you called humans! You are truly the inhuman ones! At which point of the graph does human and inhuman meet?" Aaaand Kevin is just trying to tell her: "Uhm... no? This ensures that if somebody else gets to how you're made first you get money out of it?" ... No it was not scripted, it's a mute comic, i'm making up the dialogue right now from the rendition.
