i... believe you deleted the paper texture on the sand, or the paper texture does not work on the sand

start with a flat then blended in a simple form shadow by using a slightly darker version of the base color. then i added a multiply layer for a light blue shadow then i added in a bunch of soft light layers with yellows and blues and a final layer of my paper texture
