I am under the impression shizuka doesn't really believe takopi is real. When she says "you smell a little" I think she is talking to chappy. Later when she is telling takopi she doesn't believe in magic she picks him up and says he doesn't smell of anything, implying he like magic isn't real to her. I was wondering if anyone else got that same thought?

Honestly it does a great job of telling a complete story in those 6 episodes too. It could easily span multiple seasons if it wanted too but yeah this is enough.

Sending you all a big Chappy HUG. For me, one of hardest things to watch after the XY, is watching untainted Takopi introduced to brutality of bulling. (PS Great portrayal of bulling and parents should watch this anime)

Yes, this show is good in that it tackles some darker aspects of reality that occur daily, but many of us don't truly experience such a depraved environment. I honestly think this show might be harder to digest than other dark shows like Made in Abyss or Promise Neverland, just because those shows have that element of make-believe, that fantasy, hyperbolic journey/conflict; those shows do make some parts hard to watch due to their gruesome nature or just simply that any medium of pain makes people wince. However, Takopi is such a morally gray show that muddies the distinction between innocence and corruption, making it so that you're always empathizing with the characters but questioning whether or not their actions are justifiable.
