Mushroom sculpting...
🕑 Added 2023-04-13 00:02:23 +0000 UTCTaking it a little easier this week and recharging from animation and stress at the day job. So I've been sculpting mushrooms! The clothing is just so I don't need to worry about the NSFW filters here getting upset over some simple mushrooms.
I think for the most part they'll be stationary and have an area of effect spore attack that deals lust damage to the player. Which means as long as the player doesn't hang around them for too long they should be fine. They're only fungi after all. No reason to really get closer to them, right?

Lol, thanks! Yeah the shoulders were driving me nuts! An earlier sculpt they had full arms with nubby fingers... but they looked kind of strange for what I had in mind. Then I shortened the arms and they looked a little better and so then I kept shortening them and ended at the shoulder nubs from the screenshot. But I'll keep messing with them and see what I can come up with. The only thing I worry about with getting rid of them completely is then I'm not sure how that 'V' taper from shoulder to waist will work especially on the really muscular shroom? I'm open to ideas or if there's a specific image you have in mind, let me know. I'll keep messing with them a bit and see what I can come up with.

Oh I gotcha, I was picturing these as almost environmental assets... like really fancy interactive trees? It sounds kind of like you're leaning more towards making mushrooms into a sentient race? I could totally see doing that in the future.

Huba Huba! Looking good! The only critique I have is the fact that the shoulders kind of just end in nubs. Arms definitely aren't necessary, however as it is now it kind of looks like the are missing them. Maybe given an additional growth of some sort if your looking for something else?

These look interesting! I feel like it would be cute to have little mushrooms growing out of their shoulders or up their back. It currently looks a little stitched together. I like the concept, but it would be cool if they were a creature all of their own that had some sort of face.
