Yeah, I know. If it weren’t Japan, we wouldn’t need all that extra censorship and people could actually see everything the artist drew… 😓 Honestly, I have no idea why this law even exists. Everyone in Japan wants it gone too. And if it ever gets abolished, I’ll replace all my past illustrations with uncensored versions! ☺️

I won't lie. The censorship is what kills my interest in commissioning Japanese artists. For the exact reason you stated. All that effort in the details just to get covered up. The day the law is shot dead, I'm gonna comm someone I swear.

完全に透明人間にハマって欲望丸出しで好き勝手しちゃってますね！😂 そういえば白い線も使用してたことがありましたね！確かに黒いより目立たなくていいのかも。むしろキャラの肌の色の線で隠すのはありなのかな…さすがに駄目か…🤔

I also prefer it when everything isn’t completely covered, so I mainly use black lines too. There’s actually no rule about how many lines you can use, but the law says the genitals must be unclear. So I can’t make the lines transparent. That’s why I try to push the limits with the number and thickness of the lines to keep the details visible — but if I go too far, the post might get taken down. It’s a double-edged sword. Pretty tricky 😓

Exactly. It makes me sad to completely hide the pussy I worked so hard to draw, so I honestly prefer using black lines to keep as much visible as possible. (Truth is, I wish we didn’t need any censorship at all, haha.)

透子さんやりたい放題ですね(*´∀｀*) モザイクか黒線か難しいですね(^^; 前に使ってた白線は肌色に近くて見やすかったのでそっちもアリなのかなと思います(*･ω･)

Black lines are the best option because they give the artist more choices for showing details, in my opinion. I'm also not sure if there's a minimum or maximum number of lines you should use for censoring, and if you can make them somewhat transparent.
