It's a ritual for me, with scented bath bombs, salts or bubbles, lighted candles and a good book. I love that initial feeling of stepping in and lowering my entire body into the hot water. It immediately relaxes me and feels absolutely divine. With my head propped up on a soft pillow, I usually like to close my eyes for a bit and drift off to some exotic location. It also helps that I can enjoy the sensations all over my body from the warm beautiful scents in the air.
It is also one of my favorite ways to spend some relaxing time together. A warm bath can be rather festive in the right conditions. Soaping each other up and rubbing all that soft skin together. But, let's try to keep more water in the tub than on the floor. 😉

I enjoy bath salts with eucalyptus and spearmint to soothe sore muscles. Lavendar bath bombs are also a favorite to help me sleep.
