Today was outlining day for the Pinebeach section.
Though there are three "branches" you will be able to explore all of them. The fun part is WHEN you decide to visit them! The world moves along without you while you're visiting elsewhere.
Today's efforts in outlining have given me a look into the size of this future Pinebeach section, and it's going to be big. Really big. Just the outlines alone for each branch totaled together at almost 6k words! THE OUT LINE DRAFT!
To give an idea of what outlining means for any who are confused and so that I can give an example of the whole "world progressing without ya", we'll use Cariel!
You choose to visit the dueling competition as your very first thing to do.
Nice! You get to finally have your very first real duel against someone not training you!

I want to have our MC's height influence some of the fight scenes, and have our set personality emerge (since it's what we've been behaving as for YEARS by this point and old habits are hard to kill) and

Yeah, it's gonna be ALOT. I'ma try and cap myself to 500 words each to TRY and make em all unique here, and even capping myself will bring the total to 6k words.
Moving on from my Sisyphean task, it ends all good and you get to show off! But... what if it's the last thing you visit?
Since you're not there beforehand, Cariel duels the knight insulting his family and kills him. As you can see, the variable that tracks if you dueled or not changed from a 1 to a 2. This will carry consequences for Cariel, and by extension, YOU.
The other branches arent as DRAMATIC as a death, but carry some intriguing inside looks into your companions and the Great Lake itself. Im trivializing.
Also patched a weird loop bug, applied some feedback that was given to me, and removed 1k worth of words (the section where the squires come up to you and talk after your father's speech. The changes make it pace better and not drag.)
So today was a very productive day!
Which is a good trade off imo since...
Tomorrow is going to be a errand day for me (in return for writing full time i gotta be the one who runs the household errands and stock up groceries and water all the time lol) so streaming is going to be later, and even then itll prob be for four or five hours. It'll most likely start 3pm Mountain Standard Time US.

Can't wait to see what ill have done by Friday!!! (and how the outline becomes a proper story lol)

Well, this is worrying. The Friendly option fits more than Imperious, but that was the one that became dominant for me. Wish I could choose for that one. My Imperious selections were just me being a good proper dutiful heir.

Correcto. You will be given the choice to change it AFTER the Caravan Attack. I’m planning on that being a big deal since it’s after the three routes problems are resolved and THEN the Caravan Attack makes it perfect to allow and explain our Champion’s change. If you so wish of course. I’m already estimating lots of folks wanting to switch personalities after the trauma occurs
