I feel like that was a Jon Snow/Ned Stark move on Uhtred’s part. He assumed because so many people saw the battle the tale would spread and no one would be so dishonorable to claim credit for a victory they didn’t earn.

The show does a amazing joy with its character moments, and interactions. With that being said I can’t wait to see up coming reactions because of this shows potential to flip perspectives of character and make you hate a character to loving them. Or vice versa
