personally, i think the Vikings show is a lot of up and downs, and as good as the show is, it is no way near as consistent as the last kingdom but yes they should add it to their list

When Alfred says "you are free to go, but as my oath man" he is reminding Uhtred of the oath he took earlier in the season and that he is not free of it. Odda was someone that gave Alfred council.
