Bonus~ Con doodles
🕑 Added 2016-05-31 19:52:13 +0000 UTC Some Hannibal stuff I doodled at Fanime this weekend; unless you're like a raging popular booth, there's usually some downtime between customers, and I hate just sitting there staring into space :P I like drawing stuff like plants and bugs when I'm using traditional ink because if I fuck up then it's not super ugly hehI found this little book with brown paper I wanted to try my pens on, and the answer is that the pens I have hate it haha... The paper is kinda rough and the nibs are pretty delicate. I was having fun experimenting with the white pencil though. Wish I could do stuff like this more often, it's nice stress relief~
Edit: OH PS the top pic was gonna be Hannistags but Will's face looked really depressed when I started inking it so I changed it :P The sunflower gives it away tho ;w;

I've done commissions at con a couple times but I'm not super comfortable with it, I'm not great at drawing good looking characters on paper (I make a lot of fixes when I draw them digitally) and the few times I've done it for someone I've felt really unsatisfied with it when I handed it over at the end. Maybe if I get a bit better at traditional stuff I might start doing it hehe
THESE ARE GORGEOUS! At fur cons people bring sketch books to hire artists to sketch drawing of their character in, would that ever be something you would do at cons? Not fur, but just in general, have that available?

The Hannibal with bees one is superb! I hope you're considering coloring it because that could be something really beautiful with your technique. (also I hope this comment doesn't come off weird. I'm bad with words lol)
