True, but her death was expected since her fake death made her a pawn in Hannibal's play to get Will. In this universe this is the first indication that Hanni is the killer, and after dating Will for months he's been found out. The hand near the knives is a subtle indicator that he is thinking of a way out despite his love of Will. It's just a panel but the nice evening of dinner nearly turned on a dime, it was short lived but set the tone very quickly.
