I'm working pretty hard to avoid exploitation and stereotypes, so I hope that it's not going to be offensive to anyone, but I'm also going into this fully aware that I can mess this stuff up. Thanks! I'm researching a ton for this work and will use it sparingly, and it's definitely coming from a respectful place and not fetishistic, but yeah, I'm an outsider so there's always a high chance of misstep no matter how well meaning :)

Thanks :) I'm definitely not worried about offending people over like, kinks and things for example, I agree with you about that stuff. In cases where it has to do with cultural or racial issues I definitely don't have that same dgaf attitude though. I grew up in Appalachia and there is a lot of Native culture ingrained in that area, so I grew up with a lot of respect for it, and I definitely don't want to accidentally disrespect it, or any culture, in my work :) But yeah, all I can do is my best lol, nobody's perfect~ Thanks!

Right, well I can only speak for myself, but as a person with Native heritage (albeit mixed), I was caught by the imagery immediately, and not offended at all. I think when these sorts of themes are dealt with in a respectful and appreciative way, its enriching for everyone.

Write what you want, don't worry too much about offending people because if you do you may end up with something you personaly don't like. People will come and go, you can't please everyone, so do what you like.
