I like to think that there are a handful of people in the facility that are emotionally attached to the idea of the Groom and are really happy that he finally found himself a Bride. There is cooing and whispered conversations and mazel tovs. There is something of an office joke (taken more seriously be some than others) that this is the bride and grooms anniversary and everyone does a joking cheer for them at some point during the office party.
