Quick note about non-USD currency pledges
🕑 Added 2020-10-10 19:37:36 +0000 UTCJust a quick technical announcement: if you recently pledged in a currency other than USD, you may be unable to view older (pre-2019) posts. This means you will likely not be able to access many comics in my masterlist.
I've submitted the issue to Patreon, but, I suspect it's happening for a tl;dr* reason and is going to be something I will have to fix manually, which is going to take me many hours of work. I'm prioritizing finishing art for this week, but hopefully should be spending some time on it next weekend. I'm so sorry for this inconvenience.

The tl;dr reason, if you would like to hear it: Patreon tiers used to be tied specifically to an amount, for example, $13. If you pledged $13 you could see that tier and everything below it. In early 2019 they changed it so that tiers were tied to a name, so that you could have tiers of the same amount with different content, etc. The issue is that the older posts, which were tied to an amount, were not automatically updated to the existing tier structure. Creators either had to update them manually or leave them as is. I left mine as is, as they still worked within my tier structure.
Then Patreon implemented currency conversion this month.
So, currently, if you pledge to my top tier in euros, you're paying 12.50. There's no conversion on the backend so Patreon does not understand that that 12.50 is actually 13. So it does not give you access to those posts and tells you that you have to increase your pledge.
This is understandably a wildly confusing and frustrating experience, since there's nothing in my language that distinguishes these posts and nothing on the front end that does either.
In order to fix it, I'm going to have to edit two years worth of posts one by one and add them to the new tier system. This is going to take me several hours. Because Patreon likely considers it a niche issue affecting only a few people and not worth building tools for.
Just... yeah. Oof.

I just tried with the pinned post. That works. But scrolling down only goes sto far. I can view everything that is linked tho. Just can't navigate to it myself. I couldn't find any of the sweet bear stuff without the pinned post.

The plus side of going through those old posts will be that I'll have an opportunity to put together a masterlist for illustrations and fix my sloppy tagging, which is something I've been meaning to do for awhile. So hopefully more people will be able to see those posts more easily afterward :)

Oh, that's actually quite strange, since you appear to be pledged for an amount that should allow you to view them. Do you get an "increase your pledge to view this post" message when you click on them or are you just unable to navigate back to them? The comics in my pinned post, for example.

I’m in Australia pledged to the NSFW tier and I can see all content. Just yesterday I was looking at some of your old art and I noticed it was from like 4y ago and I’d already been scrolling for ages. Shame some people can’t see that.

Oh wow, so that’s what happened. I’m sorry to hear that Patreon have made things so difficult. I haven’t noticed any issues (I pledged in £s), but please take your time - that’s a lot of work for you and it’s not worth stressing yourself out over.

WOW Patreon, so that's what it was. I feel sorry for that user and for you, is not fair patreon makes you extra hard work for their own short comings. If they actually take this as a service you are paying them for they would have all end users experience into account. I'm fuming this is so unfair
