If I understand your question correctly, are you asking why I started the mushroom cap brown at the beginning? if so, It's just to distinguish space to space. It can be any color :D

So cute! This is probably a dumb question but why do you start with a colour on the bottom layer (such as brown), only to cover it up later by different colours where you can’t see any of the original colour at all?
