Hulk is definitely the strongest character (especially in the comics) but not necessarily the most powerful. They did a fantastic job with Hulk in this movie but generally speaking the MCU films have severely nerfed his power/strength.

I can't say I enjoy the ensemble movies much. There are so many characters that you don't have the time to explore any of them on a deeper level, and I find Joss Whedon's style annoying when it isn't outright disturbing. The next Avengers is the bottom of the barrel, but it gets better after that. Some of the solo movies are still excellent, and only the first two Avengers are directed by Whedon.

There are so many version of hulk but in theory he is near the top because the angrier he gets the stronger he gets. That doesn't work for a movie because he needs to be calm enough to help the team. But in the actual comic, he has almost unlimited strength as long as he keeps getting angrier. Trying to defeat someone far above him in power at the start of the fight will propel his rage to the point he is more powerful.

For me this is where I started getting invested in the MCU. Helped for me that Joss Whedon directed it as well. He created my favorite show ever BTVS. I saw some of that influence in the directing for this.

Clint, Hawkeye, doesn't get a backstory nor does Natasha, until later on and mainly to introduce other characters. Hawkeye doesn't have powers, he just is VERY skilled with bow & arrow. The next two movies aren't my favorite and only one of them, Thor 2, serves a purpose as far as importance to the overarching story.

From the comic books, The HULK is canonically strongest physically. He literally get's stronger the angrier he gets. Then Thor, then Iron Man(the suit) and Captain America are tied. Stark is probably potentially the most powerful at this stage, just through his sheer genius. Give him the right tools and resources and some time and he can build something absolutely savage.

just so you know... and i don't think you missed anything relevant... there is a post credit scene (which you saw) but there is also an after credit scene that shows after the black and white credits. I know, it's annoying. Just informing you for future marvel films. While i don't think that they all have a post credit AND after credit, i know that this one and a few more definitely do. That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your reaction to this one. Thanks for all you do :)

I was looking into what's next and I came up with two options; Chronological and Release Order. I don't know which you've been doing but my research suggests that release order avoids the most spoilers. I'd recommend going by a release ordered list, if i'm inferring your preferences correctly. (Btw; I post whenever I have something to say, hence the 3 separate posts. Movie's over, though. Had fun. Can't wait for more. We getting another, this weekend, or something else?
