They are ridiculous, and deserve ridicule. It's just that your delivery makes it sound less like a cutting social commentary and more like obtuseness. Maybe that's just how it looks from my end.

I think that every physical altercation within a relationship is abuse no matter who it comes from. But yes, at the same time i'm mocking the tropes a little bit because they are absolutely ridiculous.

Not sure if you're actually serious with this 'Tarah is an Abuser' complaint and just don't get what the tropes were on the subject back then in Television, or you absolutely do get what the tropes were and are mocking them.
