My theory is that Early Marvel was a time when Stan Lee was more involved and the story followed the comics a bit closer. Superhero movies were still niche at this time; movie theatres still showed other genres so this period caters to the comic nerds. Later Marvel is like, "Fuck it, let's do Spiderman and Captain America fighting aliens in Outer Space!"

Peter has an outside apartment for the same reason he doesn't date MJ: to protect the ones he loves from potential harm. He feels super guilty about it and that's why he's gloomy, depressed Peter. It's a great contrast to super confident, sarcastic Spiderman.

I just love these movies and how human they are. And that there's actually a cohesive character arc for Peter and his friends across the trilogy as they become older and move through different stages of life. Raimi was dealing with a lot of studio interference with the third one, but he still had a cohesive vision and long-term story he stuck to. Seems like that's too much to expect in some cases nowadays...

Ok, 1ST Awsome that ya saw it!! As for Mr. LBoyd watching some extended cuts/Directors Cuts , Etc , As far as I can tell he is using a streaming service to watch the movies. And depending on the service , they may not offer it. Hence , no extended Etc. He has watched some other films that are Director's Cuts , but seems to be with some of the major studio ones like Gladiator , Troy , and a couple others. Just a guess BTW. Ok, gonna watch the extended train fight now. Lol. : ]

first we took the x men detour, then the blade detour, and along the way we went from every monday to only every other monday. but nevertheless we will finally get Mr Boyd to finish the Spider-Man movies, next is Spider-Man 3, then Amazing 1 and 2 and finally... NO WAY HOME!!!

Perfect casting. Ok, so next week is Spider-Man 3. Then the The Amazing Spider-Man , the Amazing Spider-Man 2 , then , unless you want to do Wandavision , it's back to the MCU with Black Widow. That fight scene on the train in this movie is iconic!!! This is still my favorite out of the trilogy however I'm looking forward to your reaction to Spider-Man 3... It wasn't received the best but looking back at it we got some great comedy and memes out of it... So looking forward to your reaction to that from an entertainment perspective lol. Then we're off to the Andrew Garfield amazing spiderman movies which should be epic!! Loving the Spider-Man journey and I enjoyed this reaction, thoroughly.

I got curious while watching and found out that Spiderman has a confirmed IQ of 250! đ€Ż In the comics, at least. He's among the most intelligent comic book characters of all time. It's always been made clear to us that Peter is incredibly smart, but damn.

Awwww YEAH! Spider-Man Time again!! And this one is high on most fans list , mine included. Most everything just "clicked" with this instalment. I remember being blown away that they were able to make Doc. Ock as badass as they did. I know this one will rank very high on your list Sir. Just a heads up there are 2 more spider-man movies after Spider-Man 3 that are part of a reboot. Itâs called The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel from 2014 that will connect to the modern marvel movies you are still finishing.

Youâre not alone sir. Everyone loves the character of J. Jonah Jameson. So much so in fact that every appearance of the character after this series of movies has looked just like the actor: J.K. Simmons. Marvel even brought him back to reprise the character in the new movies as well.
