ACKS II Revised Rulebook
🕑 Added 2023-11-03 19:34:53 +0000 UTCAdventurers, here's the latest version of the ACKS II Revised Rulebook. The new classes are not entirely finished (I'm still working on Witches) but I didn't want to delay too long because I know you are all eager to see the latest updates.
I've released this version in bookmarked PDF. Hopefully I have not failed my Knowledge (MS WORD) proficiency throw.

Is this the best venue for offering errata comments, or do you prefer feedback via Discord or Kickstarter (once the pdfs are out to KS backers ofc)? (or not at all - I know some writers prefer to just have their stuff be proofread by the paid proofreaders and not get comments from every corner of the internet)
Thanks for all the errata. Robert, demihuman classes use normal movement rate except where otherwise noted. Dwarves move 120'.
Will demihuman classes such as with dwarves use a slower movement 90(30) , if so would this limit daily expedition speeds when travelling by foot with humans for example?

Page 190… the tale of Surcaenos. Having the player roll for spells and then not getting a spell because they already have that spell seems Dickish. I know I’d feel ripped off. That said? Giving the player a choice to either re-roll or leave the slot open seems fairer particularly are a spell reporte is key to the class functionality. Some players might like leaving the slot open, others REALLY hope they can get that spell.

Page 173, Morale. Pg 174 refers to the page xx but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to reprint the table here again to stop page flipping.

More a general rules question. Does Ambush stack with thief/assassin backstab feature?
On page 72 on the table for warlock dark paths, the description for transmogrification is cut off.
