That's a problem with the walkthrough (I must have forgotten to update the entry): just interact with the cell's door to continue.

In the walkthrough the mission to free Lebara ends with 'the quest stops here for now" at that point I can't exit the building cause it says I should free her

Which story mission are you referring to? Is it not in the walkthrough? The main story should be playable from beginning to end, unless there is a bug I don't know about.

i got stuck on the story mission (saving the demon) and now can't leave. Sadly don't have a recent save ready. When is a update coming out?

It's not essential, but if you find the other half of the musical sheet you can use it to access a "special" library in Zanark, another city. There is also a box you can open, for a health amulet fragment, and a bit of a vague hint if you interact with the altar (which might help you find the other half of the musical sheet later on). By the way, don't forget that there is a walkthrough for the game (linked in the game's folder), you can find a lot of details in it.

This is one of the maps where you can use a spell to find a new area. I am sick and it's the weekend, so I have plenty of time to reply. XD I do try to reply when possible anyway. I enjoy talking about the game, usually, and I'd feel bad leaving someone hanging.

I always wondered if it was something to do with the zenti family path 😂 is this secret part just a visual hint or and actual area in game? Also thank you for the responses

Do you mean the building between the pub and the Queen of Hearts? If so, the building is closed, but it's also there to hint that there is a little secret in that area...

Also I noticed in the tarkas city by the bar there is a locked building with a milk symbol over it is that just for cosmetic or a future addition?

For the cowgirl path, that's just art for a couple of scenes already in the game if you become a breeder (they needed something extra visually). The pink eyes one is a scene I added with the last update, where you can meet the circus hypnotist in Solina if you took his lessons and afterward "helped" the two guys in the circus map.
