Dev Log 52

Once again, I'm happy to report that this will be a rather short one, simply because I'm rendering and everything is going well - meaning there isn't much more to say.
I've completed another 370 renders over the last couple of weeks since the last dev log, which brings the total up to 1570. That means we're finally, slowly, closing in on the release of 0.12, and at this point I think I'm close enough to give a target release date - 24th of May.
There's an outside shot it could be a week earlier than that (I always try to release on a weekend), but there are still some pretty big outstanding technical issues to solve with the new UI, and I'm still waiting for the designer to get back to me on that.
So with all that in mind, there will be one final dev log before the release, at which point I hope to be able to tell you that this UI business has finally been put to bed, and that the rendering is near completion!
Honestly, this update has been a lot of work behind the scenes for various reasons, but I'm starting to get really excited to put it out there - I really love some of the developments that are coming this time!

Hey CC I noticed that the underwear of the women who wear suspenders is underneath them, in reality they would wear them over the suspenders, it looks odd in the renders you've done.

I agree yeah. Not just the perspective of how we see the game play out, but in complement to that, the incredible writing as well! We don't need to be babysitted into knowing the characters' thoughts by reading their minds, we see them just... live their lives as we would normally. And yet it all feels natural! Take literally any point in the story: you can see how a character acts, maake assumption on why they act that way, and you will be rewarded with a clear logical answer and or logical possibility every single time. This can only be possible because of Cosy's incredible writing, and I can't praise it enough. And yet it doesn't stop at *just* phenomenal writing, everything follows this quality. I'm so glad I discovered this, can't be happier about supporting it!

I think I just figured out what separates Cosy Cafe from most other AVNs in my head, I think its the fact that we don't see anyone else's perspective or we don't get extra info from a character that isnt present in front of the MC. we don't know ANYTHING that the MC hasnt figured out or been told directly. ill give an example Victoria and Lucy went to Sarah to get fitted for clothes and when the mc runs into them again in the class they seem to be talking about something that we dont know because WE WHERENT THERE. That to me is immersive as shit!

I prefer to delete the old version and then install the updated version because it gives me the chance to either start over (which I love doing, the best VN ever), or to go for the new parts of I've played through it recently

Sarah has to be my favourite. I really like her cutesy anger at times, and the shy side she shows when MC gives her attention and affection just melts me. I can't get enough of her. Lucy was my favourite because of the shyness she showed, but when the relationship between MC and Sarah really grew, I just fell head over heels for her

Maybe some of you have already figured it out and I'm just dumb, but wtf is up with Annabelle? Who is she, and what does she want? ( besides some family head D) And if none of us know, I'm fine with waiting for CC to reveal all that in story. I was just curious if anyone else had figured her out.

I know it's just over 3 weeks for the release and I just finished playing CC but DAMN these withdrawal symptoms I just Have to start again from the beginning. I forgot about Lily she's a red head and she got a really nice ass.

She knows the range of ticket numbers contained within that book because it follows on from the other books. So she just picked a number without needing the physical ticket.

Hey CC I have a question, the ticket book that was stolen had all the ticket stubs in it, how did Sarah pick a winning ticket from a stolen ticket book? Unless it was Sarah who took the ticket book I only ask as I'm playing through again as I just love the story and of course the beautiful hot red heads.

Well damn, and here I was hoping I would get the next update in time for my birthday. Doesn't bother me at all if my saves get broken and I have to start from the beginning. Love the story and love the girls. We all appreciate all the work you put in to give us this adventure.

i fricking LOVE redheads lol. normally games only offer 1 or 2 but here you have Alison, Sarah and Hannah. other redheads are in the game but they married. I do have to agree with you that i would happily start over every update, the dialog is amazing to say the least, the renders are beautiful. every single character is unique, the game is definitely in my top 5 AVNs.

I've said it before. This is one of the best harem builders out there. Cozy Cafe and Eternum are my favorites by far. The attention paid to dialogue, the unbelievable renders and the way emotion is portrayed in those renders is so perfect. Everything is so amazing, that I don't mind starting over and going thru it all again. So the fact that the UI breaks the saves between updates isn't really something you should stress about at this point. If you get it fixed, great. If you don't, well, there's always next update. I'll start this one over at every update if you want me to. lol. Really, the work has been top notch. And being in love with the redheads is something I think Ben Harris and myself can agree on. Thanks, Cozy. Looking forward to next month.

Something in the UI is causing saves to be non-compatible between different versions of the game. Meaning that every new update breaks saves. Unfortunately this isn't something I thought to test for when receiving the new UI from the designer, it just never occured to me that the UI would mess with saves at all, so I only discovered it when I went to make a bug fix version of 0.11 (the last update) ready for the public release.

i have NO IDEA how to make renders but just seeing the faces up close tells me that its no "walk in the park" i would just like to thank you for making this game as beautiful as it is. i am wholeheartedly invested in the story and the romance. thank you cosy for bringing this cavity educing story into my life. ( i know its not all sweet, but when it is, it melts my heart) THANK YOU again.

i think that Cosy is trying not to rush the story too much in order to leave room for the romance of characters. in the update after this there is a date with Akatsuki and a suprise with Sarah too (already mentioned in the story so not a spoiler, not that i have any spoilers to offer lol) the upcoming update there is the sleepover with Sarah where the mc plans on asking Sarah to be his GF properly, kinda hoping Brian does something stupid with Hannah (not too far, just wanna see Brian missing his teeth lmao) hoping we get more Hannah romance (she is probably my fav NON-GF character. Im a sucker for a redhead lol and Hannah seems like a genuinely "good girl" lol)

Thanks for the update Cosy! Ahhh this is some exciting stuff! Obviously the update is gonna be fantastic, so if there does end up being remaining issues with the big baddie bug, take as much time as needed, the quality is always more than worth it! Amazing work as always and excited for whenever it comes out ^^
