Yes I can be difficult when I just use a monthly to-do list. That makes it too easy to procrastinate and every time I get people giving me last minute projects that I have to find a way to squeeze into my already full schedule. I am going to start using the cute schedule planner I bought (but stuck in a drawer and forgot about!)

Thanks Ed, that’s good advice. My Patreon Exclusives are a small attempt at a passion project, plus I have a new series coming up that I am really looking forward to, but it probably won’t be ready until the end of the year

I think everybody goes through periods where they lack motivation creative or not, something I do especially the last few years is to set goals..daily goals weekly ones ect. It may sound corny or trivial but it really pushes you to get shit done, and if you don't, then that's when you can be hard on yourself for being lazy or whatever..also time off is usually well deserved and not done often enough so don't fret you've got a loyal fan base.

Yes, other creatives go through this, to varying degrees. You just have to take care of yourself and ride it out. I personally usually start a passion project to inspire me, even if that means regular projects have to get neglected for a bit.

I often wonder if people will still want to hear my voice when I'm in my 50s! LOL It's going to be really difficult to transition to some other line of work when I can no longer do this for a living!

I think we all have periods where we struggle with motivation. Creative endeavors are even more difficult to turn on and off. A real break from the normal routine should give you a better recharge. Hang in there and before you know it, those kids will be grown up, we will be old, and there will be lots of requests for old people fantasies. :-)

I know a few people feel this way, but not everyone. But don't worry, I'm not that far gone. I was hoping the changes I made to my Patreon tiers would help alleviate a bit of the pressure I was feeling, so I just need to give that time to take effect :)

I don't think you'll be able to see it as a little break. I'm afraid this will only feel like a time wasted. If this is the case then you just need to take an intentional break for a couple of weeks, perhaps? Go somewhere with Daddy like you did previously. And you don't need to tell me about Patreon obligations. Personally, I'd rather you cut half of the month's content than shut it all down completely because you can't take it anymore.
