Franklin was sitting at his desk, minutes past midnight, trying his best to analyze as much of the data that had been pawned onto him only moments before he was supposed to go home as he could. He had to do it now, or else he’d have to work through his tenth weekend in a row.
He really didn't want to work another weekend, but this data was important to the company, and being that he’s among the best and brightest at the company, he was one of the only people who was trusted for such important work, not to mention one of the only ones who could actually do it.
Franklin was exhausted though, not just from an already long day, but because he really never got a moment of rest. Even if he somehow got all this work done and got the weekend off, he’d end up being busy with his family.
He sat back and sighed. He loved his family, but after fifteen years with his wife and two very needy teenagers constantly yelling at him and demanding things he was at his wit's end, he was on the verge of burning out and giving up.
He sat back and sighed. He looked over at a picture of his family. It was a more recent photo, and in it, his oldest daughter was wearing her new high school uniform, it was just like his when he was in high school, albeit the female version.
That caused him to start to think about his high school days, more importantly, the last of them when he was eighteen, a month away from graduation, and a summer away from going to college. Back then he was so busy studying and trying to get the best grade.
He felt it was pointless now, he should have been like the other guys, or even more like the guys nowadays. Not worrying about bills, not getting up at the crack of dawn to get to work, not going home past midnight, and most importantly having fun and relaxing.
Franklin had thought if he worked hard back then, that he’d get the time to relax when he was where he was currently, but boy was he wrong. It was so much worse, and it never ended. If he could do it all over again, go back and be young again, he’d relax and have a ton of fun.
Franklin sighed again, that was never going to happen, so all he could do was continue working until his body gave up on him. Franklin looked back at the screen and attempted to get back to work, but his body decided to give up much sooner than he had expected.
His head fell down onto the keyboard and he passed out. Franklin had the best, most well-rested sleep he’d have in years, but unfortunately, it was ruined by a group of girls giggling. Franklin sat up and yawned.
A piece of paper had been stuck to her face while she slept, so after a few seconds, it peeled off and fell onto the small desk he’d been sleeping on. Franklin grabbed it and looked at it. She was very confused. On the paper was a math test, and not printouts of the data she was working with.
Franklin looked the test over, and it was a bit advanced almost like the stuff she did in high school and early college. Franklin put the test down and looked around the room. She was now sitting in some sort of classroom, with students in uniforms all around them.
Franklin looked at them, most of them were taking a similar test as the one she just looked over. Franklin looked out the window, which looked out over a football field, where Franklinsaw a group of cheerleaders practicing.
The window was open, so that was likely the source of the giggling. Now knowing she was clearly in a school, she just had to figure out why she was here and how she got here. Franklin tried to get up and just leave, but the teacher sternly told her to sit and finish her test.
She was just going to ignore him, but honestly, this test would be easier to complete than her daily duties. She sat down, looked at the first question, and knew how to solve it instantly. After completing the first one, she moved on to the second one.
It only took about eight minutes for her to finish both sides of the test, all while the students around her were only halfway through theirs. Franklin then stood up and got another look from the teacher. Franklin showed him the test, and the teacher seemed to relax.
Franklin brought it up to him, he looked it over and told her she did a good job and then excused her. Franklin thanked him and left in a good mood. Even though it was pretty simple stuff, she couldn't remember the last time she’d been praised.
As Franklin walked into the hallway, she recognized where she was. It was her old high school, the one her oldest daughter currently attended. Franklin still had no idea how she got here, but she was starting to think maybe she sort of blacked out and in that state drove her child to work.
There was only one way to find out. Franklin walked around the school until she got to her daughter’s locker. There she found her daughter Millie pulling some books out. Franklin called out to her and approached her.
Millie turned to look at Franklin but seemed awfully confused. Franklin went right into asking her questions but was quickly stopped by Millie asking Franklin who she was. Franklin stopped talking and asked her what she was talking about.
Millie said they’d never met before. Franklin let out a fake laugh and said to stop fooling around. Millie just shrugged and said she wasn't. Franklin then sighed and asked her how she couldn’t remember her own dad.
Millie got a bit uncomfortable. She then said that she may not see her dad often, but she was sure the middle-aged balding man wasn't the short petite girl with glasses standing in front of her. Millie then pushed past Franklin and ran off.
Franklin wanted to chase after her, but what she said was confusing. Franklin reached her hand up to her face, and sure enough she had glasses on. She looked down and again like Millie had said, Franklin was a girl.
She had a small petite body and breasts, and she was even wearing the female school uniform. Franklin went to the bathroom, making sure to use the female one, and used the mirror to look herself over.
She couldn't believe she was a girl, it was so strange, yet nothing really felt out of the ordinary. She had no idea how she ended up as a young schoolgirl, but she wasn’t complaining. She was young again, and being a girl was a small price to pay for a second chance at youth.
She wasn’t going to waste this opportunity. She was going to make up for all the fun she should have had when she was younger, plus some extra for all the times she overworked herself instead of relaxing as an adult.
Because she had already graduated high school, Franklin was easily able to pass again with top marks, and a month after becoming young again, she was once again a high school graduate. On the night of graduation, Franklin went out and partied with some other girls.
That's where for the first time she got tipsy, even though her current body was only nineteen. She was having a great time with the other girls, dancing and singing while wearing some tight pink dress one of them convinced her to wear.
That’s when a guy from the football team approached her. He started flirting with her, and it was clear he was trying to make a move on her. Franklin knew what he was after and he wanted to try it as well.
So the two of them found a room, got undressed and the random guy proceeded to take her virginity. Franklin loved it, it was nothing but pleasure and joy, which was the exact opposite of how his life had been. She knew then that this was what she wanted in life.
From that day forward Franklin spent every day doing everything fun she could. She partied as much as she could, made a ton of friends, had plenty of one-night stands, traveled the world and most importantly she took advantage of the opportunity she was given, and lived a long healthy stress-free life.

When I was writing it, I didn't exactly see him as a good person. I felt as though he hated everything, and was bitter about how his life ended up. Because of that, I didn't think he'd really care about losing his family since he was at the point he really didn't care for them. But that's just what I was thinking when writing it.

Franklin really pulled out a lucky ticket... although I personally doubt that he could have just thrown away his old life, but this is not so important, but what is important is that he managed to find his happiness and that’s the main thing! (and yes, you shouldn’t be so confident in your memory... people tend to forget most of the complex and complex knowledge that is taught in high school, and only the most frequently used knowledge remains with us for a long time)
