Yeah, what you identify as and your sexual orientation is separate. For a bit of an example, I'm a trans-female. I identify as a female. Trans before it means that I wasn't that way when born, while a Cis-woman would be one who was female at birth and still considered themselves female. Just like being Cis being trans doesn't pick your sexual orientation. TO each person that's much different. You can be straight as both Trans and Cis. You can also be gay as both Trans and Cis. Again in my case, I guess I would be considered Aroace, which refers to people who experience little to no romantic or sexual attraction. However, when I do, it's usually towards women or other female-presenting people. Can't lie, I like boobs C:

That is, if I understood you correctly, then who you are attracted to sexually is in no way connected to who you feel like inside, right?... I have never looked at it from that position... I think I will need to seriously think about this...

I mean it's simple, right? Woman + woman is lesbian (They can also be bisexual, pansexual, and more, but in this case let's not worry about that.) Trans and Cis are just ways to describe the type of woman. No different than saying tall woman or short woman, they're still women. You can also be non-binary and lesbian. I get that it can seem wrong, or confusing, but honestly, it's pretty simple. If you're a woman, and like women, that can be considered lesbian.

this story... let's say it's not without its own inner beauty and plus it's a beautifully shown lesbian relationship in general I'm delighted but please don't get me wrong but... the thing is that I don't quite understand how you can be both a transwoman and a lesbian at the same time... it seems a little strange... the most amazing thing for me here is that the concept is transformation into a woman and then lesbian relationships I really like but I haven't seen it in this context before and deep down this option seems wrong to me... I'm a very strange person
