Walking a Mile In Her Shoes II (YT)
🕑 Added 2025-05-07 18:50:38 +0000 UTCMy sister and I started to do yoga poses. She would do them first; that way I knew what I was doing. I then started to copy it myself. At first it wasn’t so bad; we did something called the downward-face dog… Oh, I mean the downward-facing dog.
It was a bit intense to hold for as long as she said, but I was able to do it and Mira clapped. We then moved onto the mountain pose and then the garland pose. All of those were simple, but the ones after that got harder and harder.
By the time we finished, I was sweaty and in pain, but I wasn’t going to admit that, as Mira didn’t seem to be as exhausted or as tired as I was. Plus, it wasn't like this meant she was better at it; she just had more practice. I’m sure tomorrow I’d be able to do it even better than her.
We finished yoga and we went to the bathroom. Mira then explained to me her showing routine. Which consisted of a lot of hair treatments plus body treatments. She said something about the hair products making my hair shiny and soft.
The body products are also apparently good for my skin. I rolled my eyes and asked her how to use each thing, and she told me to read the labels for directions. I took each one and looked them over, and it was pretty simple: put it on, let it sit, rinse, and do the next thing.
I hop in the shower and do all those things, one by one, until I’ve done everything. It was quite annoying and even worse, it took much longer than my normal shower time, and I couldn’t figure out any way to make it quicker without just skipping an item altogether.
When I got out, I dried everything but my hair. I put her pajamas on and opened the door so Mira could come in and use the shower next. As we swap spots, she teases me about such a long shower but then tells me my hair was looking great.
I shake my head and tell her if she keeps talking, she’ll definitely be slower than me. She laughs and hands me some lotion. She tells me to put it on while she’s in the shower. I ask her where I should be using it, and she says everywhere.
She also tells me I have to rub it in, as it wasn’t good or comfortable to leave globs of it on your skin. I sigh and take it to my room to start doing it. It was just lotion, so I knew it would be simple, so I would likely finish before she even got out of the shower.
After spending like ten minutes putting lotion everywhere. I got up to bring the bottle back to the bathroom for Mira to use, but before I left, I saw myself in my mirror. My face turned bright red before my very eyes.
I looked just like my sister, with only a few differences. I mean, we are twins, and I’m wearing her pajamas, but still I never realized how much my messy and greasy hair set us apart. The thoughts of people mistaking me for her were just too embarrassing.
As I sat there, embarrassed, looking into the mirror, Mira came walking in, sounding annoyed. She was in the middle of asking me what was taking so long but stopped when she saw me looking into the mirror.
She laughed and asked me if I was amazed by what clean hair looked and felt like. I quickly regained my composure. I couldn’t let her know what I was thinking; she’d totally make fun of me for it once this was all over.
I lied and told her that I was just trying to figure out what it did, as I couldn’t see a difference. She laughed at that, seeming to believe it, then told me if I looked in a mirror more often, I’d be able to tell.
She then said, whether I noticed it or not, my hair and my scalp were surely happy to be properly cleaned for once. She then grabbed the lotion and said she was going back to the bathroom. She told me there were some clothes waiting for me on her bed.
She wanted me to get changed and then meet her in the bathroom so we could dry our hair and start working on it. I sort of knew this was coming after she made me sleep in these girly pajamas instead of my normal shorts and tank top, but I was still hoping to get out of this.
I had to put her clothes on or admit defeat. Which might backfire anyway, now that I think about it. She could use her prize to make me do all of this anyway. So on the chance that I end up doing all of this anyway, I must stick through it and win.
I also have no idea how fast she puts clothes on, as she’s usually dressed and just starting her hair when I wake up, but I know I can get dressed much faster than she can. As I go into her room, I see the clothes that are waiting for me.
I don’t know why I was hoping she’d give me something more normal to wear, like a spaghetti-strapped tank and a pair of low-cut shorts, or even some leggings and a simple skirt and blouse. No, she, of course, picked out a very bright green dress for me to wear.
I wanted to stop and hold my face, maybe convince myself to give up, but I knew I had to get dressed fast as the clock was ticking. So I started to get changed. I grabbed both pieces of underwear.
The bottoms went on easily, the top… Well, that was much harder, as I couldn't figure out the latches. It also felt weird bending my arms that way behind my back, but after two dozen failed attempts, I got it.
After that was the main piece, the dress. I unzip the back and lift it over my head. I drop it and get my arms in the sleeves. Once the dress was sitting in the right place, I was about to zip it up, but I felt it getting zipped up on its own. I turn my head to see Mira behind me with a smile on her face and already fully dressed.

It's true, she's been doing her daily routine a lot longer, and that gives her the advantage. Honestly, he wasn't thinking much when he said he could do it all better. I'd say she could totally take advantage of the situation and make him do things that she doesn't actually do for fun, but I get the feeling turning her brother into a girl is already super fun for her.

... I'll just say that a brother doesn't have a single chance to beat his sister... simply because she is more experienced in the actions that she does every day and accordingly she does everything faster and even if one day it happens that he is faster, she will choose some action in the court, she is experienced and will say that she does it every day... for example, she will say that every night before going to bed she stands on her head for half an hour... he simply won't be able to prove that she doesn't do it
