Hm, Jain is not supposed to know Jake, she is supposed to be reading his nickname, but I guess it doesn't translate well since you're not the first person to think that. Maybe I should adjust the dialogue slightly. Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm...did Abby sense Jain despite her stealth? Ha. Does being an NPC actually come with perks like bypassing certain skill checks. Like in some videogames an NPC can still talk to you despite you being invisible.

Tough choice. I assume this story will last 12 days and we are only on day 2. Do you have enough content for 2 people? Will you introduce an antagonist? I am leaning towards rotate to different party members. Though this character could come back as an ally depending on her popularity. It seems she already knows Jake, and could provide excellent jealous vibes. I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 extra permanent party member.

It would be fun to see Abby get jealous of the new girl. Then get frustrated over realizing her own feelings

Yeah I'm of the mind that other characters should really only pop in occasionally, though ultimately it depends on the scope of the story. I've been imagining that the story will resolve some time relatively soon in some form or another, and that we're already ~halfway or a bit less than that to the end. If you want to extend it, then more characters make a lot of sense.
