That reaction is confused disappointment :D i would call it a success for Abby and a loss for Alex. Not only was he unable to curse them out, he might have helped them survive the dungeon, which is the opposite of what he wants.

Heh. Now I would love to see Abby get a skill that does the opposite that lower the enemies' moral. LOL. I wonder how far Abby would be able to trash-talk the enemies. Maybe this speech here would had translated better.
