What to work on?
🕑 Added 2021-09-23 16:20:37 +0000 UTCI've kinda broken it down into three things I want to do for the next update. The next weight stage is a for sure. But other than that, I'm thinking:
Option 1: Polish: fix some of the more jarring transitions, make the dialogue flow better, odds and ends. (Fix the freaky living room button).
Option 2: Graphics: Update the sprites for at least the lead character to Gen8. This will take longest as I'll have to re-render a lot of images. But it would be worth it.
Option 3: Activities: this one is simple enough, add more day-to-day activities. I had a movie option planned, but was/am struggling with a way to make it unique, the same with most activities I suppose. There are a lot of tropes in this sub-genre.
This is where I'm hoping to get some audience participation. Pick what you'd like to see in the next update and that's what I'll be working on in conjunction with continuing the story. Poll will close probably Sunday if I get a good sample size.

Hey all, Firstly thank you especially to the people that have become patrons, and thanks to everyone who has tried the demo, it means a lot and I will do my level best to deliver a great VN experience. Secondly, it looks like graphics are in the lead! I'll probably close the poll tomorrow morning. If graphics win it, I'll work on updating some of the backgrounds and probably two characters. Danielle for sure and probably Cindy, just cause I like her. I'll be upgrading to Gen 8.1 which will give the graphics a nice boost and will give me more versatility when it comes to clothes and things. The background upgrades will make everything more compatible and will let me do more scenes where Danielle can interact with the environment. That's all for now! -HH

Id say for me personally graphics>polish>activities the demo was great. And outside of graphics the polish is a good way to go as well. I think the problem I had most in the demo was the flow of activities or the transitions between story beats and normal event loops. So probably cleaning up jarring transitions adding more in-between or dialogue to story plot advances and making certain parts flow better(which you seem to be planning to do) will probably fix that for me personally. I think for me personally I would like to see the major story advancement scenes just a bit more grandiose to help distinguish them between other events . But all in all for a first demo it was great keep up the great work.
