It may be epic to you, but I sort of feel the same. The show just does far too much. No need to "bare" something that you just don't want to be subjected to or triggered by. Fantasy is to enjoy oneself and become immersed in a story. Strictly speaking, while I'm aware things get good, I think there are far better stories out there. The Beginning After The End strikes me as one such tale.

I feel bad you gonna miss the Rest of one of our Best Isekai to be animated the one that started it all. Some of the topics are hard to handle but there are worst out there. True its a bit cringe but it was first published like 12 yrs ago. So More Isekai have evolved from this material.

I haven't seen any of the mushoku tensei reactions or thr anime psst season 1. But having read the book I can imagine what a lot of those reactions would be. There is unfortunately a lot of cringey and uncomfortable moments in this story

I had one dude tell me that he was ok with incest (Rudy and Eris are related) and he began to spout of all the reasons it was "superior". When I pointed out that it causes mutations in DNA and regresses humans - he was like "wait, really?" Half of the time they don't even realize that society drifted away from those ideas BECAUSE they weren't fit to have in the first place. Old ass people preying on kids will never be ok in my book.

Internet fandoms can be super toxic. I got called a westard because I criticised the weird underage stuff despite enjoying the rest of the show. Strange insult but it's weird how people will defend that stuff.

I support this decision. The hate isn't really worth anything you'd gain from it. Besides, there are so many new animes coming out right now that it won't be missed. Go,Go Loser Ranger, Reincarnated as a Slime s3, MHA s7 and Bleach later this summer, Kaiju #8 , Windbreaker, these are all quality shows that could replace that slot.

I don't blame you, I never continued it after the 1st season because that pedo shit was so in your face and hard to ignore, its a shame because the world-building was pretty good, but honestly there are plenty of other fantasy shows that are better than it.

Makes perfect sense to me. As someone who reviews media as a second job I totally get where u r coming from. I have to do reviews of jobless this season and as someone who doesn’t always love the show I’m braced for what might come my way. Always take care of your mental n emotional health first. That’s the most important thing.

Totally understandable, and think probably the most healthy option for yourself too. I guess its a lot of stress too dealing with the drama, I do like the show but I think 99% of the critique is valid and I also do critique it a lot myself, So in the end, were just along for the ride, where we going is up to you. :) just curious - do you think you will watch it on your own still or dropping the show completely.

As much as i would like to watch your reaction to the show, in the end its understandable, i dont really understand why some people can't let others express their opinion on certain subjects. In the end you react to whatever you want to react and people should understand that.

Ultimately people watch reaction videos to see people well react. If they can't handle that then there isn't a point in making such videos. It's best to make stuff you feel you have the freedom to actually discuss and react properly
