It’s interesting to me that the head of the family is a woman who is perfectly happy sacrificing(murdering) innocent strangers but would get angry if she found out about her male family members attempted sexual violence on one of those strangers she was planning to kill anyway. Of course I figure she would tell them off maybe even beat the shit out of them but would make sure they didn’t face any legal consequences for their sexual violence.

My understanding is that the kito family wanted to sacrifice jiji’s family, but before they could do that his parents got sick because of a spirit and left. Maybe the angry spirit of al the people who were sacrificed to a fucking worm?
