How we take down Viltrum!

Edit: Also, I was just thinking maybe that’s why they had a Viltrum war. Maybe they were trying to kill off every Viltrumite who was infected to try and save their race from extinction.
Another edit: I have some more invincible theories. I was thinking there may be another reason why there are so few pure blooded Viltrumites left as well as a reason why they need to breed with other species.
Maybe they adopted a similar mindset as royalty did historically. You know how with royalty it was common for inbreeding because they wanted to keep the bloodline as “pure” as possible? Well maybe after the Viltrum war, after they culled the “weak” they started to inbreed and it eventually caused infertility. That could be why they need to breed with other species, but still being the purist and elitist minded assholes they are, they only allow breeding with genetically similar species. Thus, why they were angry at Nolan for breeding with a Thraxan. So maybe the virus thing won’t come around until later in the storyline and it’s a virus created by Cecil or the Coalition of planets or maybe they both work on it in tandem.
Anyway. What do you guys think?

So I rewatched the final scene where nolan tells allan how there are less than 50 full blooded viltrumites left in the universe. He then says, "it's also why we beat them". I'm thinking it's a numbers thing, and the reason why it's a closely guarded secret is because if the universe knew of this they probably wouldn't put up with their shit. I still think the war is the reason for their numbers taking a hit, and then I'm sure other viltrumites died over time, maybe even executed, we know they do that. Also, I have a feeling that Mr big brain, whatever his name is, has something to do with mark getting sick somewhere down the line. Just an fyi. I've had a mean headache and fever for the past 3 days, going on 4 now, so if I make no sense then you know why.

Ok now check this out. First off, I refuse to believe the viltrumites would get taken down by a punny virus. Let's say you're right about some virus. If the war was about taking out the infected/weak/inferior viltrumites, then wouldn't that mean the surviving/stronger/superior viltrumites were also immune to the virus? 🤔 Would also explain why mark gets sick at some point since he's not full viltrumite.

Well you have to look at it as Mark is biologically more Viltrumite than human at this point. Nolan says Mark is nearly full blooded so maybe the virus could affect Mark to a greater extent but it was still he dangerous to full blooded Viltrumites

Yes but I think that might be why they were considered “weak”. Because they were infected, sick, inferior. Maybe he just said weak because he didn’t want to be honest about why they really killed them off. He did say it was their most heavily guarded secret! 🧐

Wait, but didn't nolan explain to mark back in season 1 that they basically killed each other off until only the strongest viltrumites were left? Am I remembering things correctly? I'm lost now.

This is a nice addition 👍 Nice theory as well. My issue about a virus to take down the viltrumites is that the immortal mentioned mark, and mark isn't a full viltrumite. So could it be mark was sick because of his human side? Whatever mark was sick with probably won't affect a full blooded viltrumite. If I misheard the immortal, then everything i said here gets thrown out the window.
