In his previous life, how had that man's 30th birthday been? Had he also forgotten his own birthday? Or had he known about it somehow and chosen to spend it alone, pushing away those around him?
No matter how hard Yuder tried to recall, the most he could remember was that he had been extremely busy and distracted around the time of the new Commander's inauguration. He wasn't even sure if Kishiar had been in the capital or in Peletta at that time. He could only assume that there had been no one around him then, based on what Emperor Katchian had said.

"Yeah. The little one has to stay here alone while I'm gone. I'm thinking of coming back early, but just in case, I have to do everything I can before I go."
Enon had not come to the Imperial Palace today like the other members. The same went for Lusan. They had conveyed that they no longer wished to receive accolades for their own reasons, and Kishiar had accepted their intentions.

In the end, Yuder, who came to think it was better to quickly pay the desired price rather than unnecessarily use violence against his life's savior, backed down, and it ended.
Naturally, folding ten thousand medicine papers took a very long time. It would be simple if he used his ability, but Enon had forbidden it, so he had no choice but to come and fold them forcibly from time to time.

Enon's hand, which had been folding medicine papers half-heartedly, flinched. He rubbed his ears and shed them, then narrowed his eyes and asked back.
"Sorry, but I thought something just entered my ears. What did you say?"
"I asked what you think people usually do for birthdays."
"Damn it! My ears were normal."
Enon cursed loudly. It was worrisome enough that Lusan, who might be sleeping in the next room, would wake up.
"Are you asking me that now? Huh? Do you think I'd care for other people's birthdays? No, to begin with, if you're asking because of your Commander's birthday, wouldn't it be better to ask the other guys! Like Gakane Bolunwald or Kanna Wand!"
Seeing Enon now memorizing and correctly calling Gakane and Kanna's names, it seemed he had grown quite fond of them during this time in the south.

After reading your discussion, I just googled "6초" (supposedly the manhwa artist's name), and among the finds went to the Twitter one. I do not speak a lick of Korean, but based on the pictures I do not think I ended up at the wrong place. Sorry for not posting link, I am just not sure I can do that here, and am too lazy to check (as per usual).

Apparently the manhwa artist feels the same as you... They posted a couple of sketches of Yuder doing the whole "I'm your present" ribbon thing (sweet, wholesome version) on their twitter. (Sorry, I don't have the link, I just saw the pics being shared in the manhwa comments.)

On a somewhat unrelated note, I just want to express what a pleasant surprise these last couple of chapters were for me. I've been letting them pile up the last few weeks because I've been so busy and knowing that I'd have today off to binge them all at once.
