Ah I get it more now. Soram can’t see past his guilt for Taeun dying to save him three times. To him, letting Taeun have his way with him and doing whatever he wants to be happy is a way to repay him for the debt of saving his life those times… he can’t see that there’s other reasons why he is constantly looking to Taeun because the trauma of those past lives have such a strong grip on him in this life. But I think, since Taeun has basically declared he’ll be serious about pursuing Soram (since he doesn’t need to worry about whether Soram could ever be with-they’ve proven that fully) he will probably start laying it on thick and our oblivious Soram will be so overwhelmed that soon even all thoughts of “debt” will probably disappear because his real feelings will start cover that completely
